My lockdown activities.
Me and Niko went down to the creek on our farm and when we got down there, first we put our lines in and then we waited.for a eel to came and eat our bait then Niko got one of the lines and then we had to wait for the red one to get a eel and finally the red one had a eel on it.then Niko got the red line and he wined up and we only got one eel and my dad was smoking the eel and then we ate the smoked eel and it was yum.

That sounds like heaps of Tiare. I loved going eeling when I was your age too. I don't eat smoked eel but my whanau do.
ReplyDeleteI loved your "re-count" writing Tiare which included lots of detail ! Don't forget to use your full stops, as it will make it easier for the reader to read (without losing their breath). I am scared of eels as they remind me of snakes and I HATE snakes - but I do love eating smoked eel !
ReplyDeleteAll boys love eeling Brock caught an eel when we went fishing the other day. He wanted to take it home to smoke it but I made him let it go as they are so slimy and they give me the heebie jeebies.
